Your New Company:
As a well-respected local contractor this client have a been building in Hampshire for over 50 years. Having established a strong portfolio of new and repeat clients, they complete an array of projects from Private and Social housing, commercial new build and refurbishment schemes up to the value of £3million in build value. They are currently running 5 live projects with more schemes for next year and now require an Assistant Site Manager who is looking to progress and run their own build projects.
Your New Role:
As (Assistant) Site Manager, the initial project involves the build of 9 private housing scheme located near Andover for a developer. The value of the project is circa £2.5 million and you will be leading the build project with assistants from relevant Contracts Managers and Directors. Future work will be located in Hampshire so someone located in this area would be well suited to the role.
What you will need to succeed:
As a contractor this would suit a Site Manager who has worked within a similar environment and you will need to have a range of experience across both Commercial and Residential Sectors. Professional in your approach and experience managing a range of contracts at a similar value projects £500k - £5million. The client will willing to consider a candidate who has developed from a trades background or educational route. Please make sure you have all relevant management tickets including SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid.
