Your new employer are a large Northern Ireland based Facilities Management company operating though-out Northern Ireland and the UK. The business offers a comprehensive overall Facilities Management experience to a range of clients. This includes services such as 24 hour maintenance, fit out and refurb works and also specialist trades including Air Conditioning and generator maintenance. Clients include Public Sector bodies and multinational Private Sector accounts. Your new role
Working as the lead engineer your new role will be to carry out Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance tasks on a number of large commercial and industrial generators. The ability to fault find and resolve fuel issues will also be key. This is a mobile role covering all of Northern Ireland with a company van and fuel card supplied. You will be working in secure areas with regular client interaction so a professional approach to work will be required. The role will involve an on call rota and you will need to be available in some instances outside of standard business hours. The role will involve mainly electrical works however some mechanically biased tasks may be required.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will require a qualification in either an Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of generator maintenance, ideally within a commercial setting. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate experience of working on Perkins, Lister and Cat generators. Experience of fault finding and small electrical works.
Full driving license
