Production Team Leaders - 3 Month Temp to Permanent - Based North Nottinghamshire|
£10 p/h for 8am-4pm shift
£12 p/h for 2pm-10pm
Plus holiday pay & overtime - Average earnings - £23-£24k
Monday to Friday Day shift - no weekends or nights - Immediate Start
Production Supervision Experience / FMCG Experience / Hands On - Leading from the front
Over the last twelve years this company have grown from nothing to a turnover in the region of £15m. They manufacture and supply chemicals that are used in a variety of sectors from industrial applications, cleaning through to additives that are used by large international companies. Their portfolio of products and customers range from multi-national companies through to retail out lets and small companies. After getting a foothold in Europe they have invested in a new line, which requires a maintenance engineer to maintain.
What the role will involve:
Being Second in command to the site manager - managing the team on the shop floor, prioritising, maintaining standards, dealing with production enquiries etc.
Supervising a small team of 4 people who will be working on day shift.
Ensuring that all of the manufacturing and filling lines have all of the materials needed to ensure they are kept running.
Checking production schedules and making sure the products are being manufactured to the required standards and volumes.
Working to KPI's and making sure the other guys on the shop floor are working to them as well.
Ensuring that health and safety guidelines and working methods are met.
Doing other tasks including loading and unloading lorries, helping the guys with line change overs, stores work - putting deliveries away, dispatch of completed product etc etc.

Willing to go permanent after the contract period.
