£45-55k + package
A unique opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join a thriving and busy organisation within the Midlands area.
With a projection to grow from £22 million to £50 million in the next 4 years, this organisation oversees service, maintenance and cyclical works to a variety of commercial buildings and prides itself on its ability to partner with other companies to produce satisfying, cost effective and mutually beneficial results.
The role of Operations Manager will oversee a team of around 35 engineers and 5 contracts managers as well as liaising with senior management in other organisations who are also involved on the same projects and of course customers and clients. The emphasis on this role is partnerships and growing relationships both within the company and outside of it with other organisations in order to drive the business forward and meet its projections. This is not a KPI led role but it is a role that requires motivation and a desire to achieve results regardless.
Meetings, account management, dealing with day to day issues and technical support will all be aspects of the role but most importantly is the need for someone to come on board and add value to the organisation through new ideas and innovation.
We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role or someone with a contract management background who is ready to take that next step. Character is key here and someone who doesn't necessarily have to have a background 'on the tools' but has an understanding or people and how to get the best out of them, is!
You will be professional, personable, diplomatic and thrive on building relationships, both new and existing. Experience in client account management is a bonus and you must be able to demonstrate how you have added value in a previous role.
This is an interesting and exciting opportunity to be involved in a large part of the maintenance and construction works occurring in the Midlands at the moment so if you feel you have the right skill set, please send you CV
