An award winning specialist drylining, ceilings and partitioning contractor is recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing business. Based out of Newark, Nottinghamshire the company work across the United Kingdom.|
They are active across a range of sectors from commercial to food-retail however they are particularly active in the high-end market working on prestigious schemes at Harrods and Heathrow Airport - for which they recently secured a F.I.S GOLD award for their high level of craftsmanship and finishing.
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for commercially managing projects across the United Kingdom. The schemes will range in size and complexity with project values ranging from £15k - £200k.
You will be from an interiors or main contracting background and it is desirable that you have experience within the drylining, ceilings and partitioning sector. The ideal candidate will be flexible to travelling and occasional lodge (when necessary), you will also be degree qualified (or equivalent) and have a positive / enthusiastic attitude and be a good communicator.
Due to the location of the office and projects the ideal candidate will live within travelling distance of Newark, Notts.
