Our Client is a privately owned company, established in 1997, operating as a specialist trade contractor in the design, supply and installation of dry lining and suspended ceiling systems on major construction projects throughout the United Kingdom.|
Based in the City of London they have been established for nearly twenty years, and have a respected reputation with blue chip clients, in the commercial internal fit-out sector, and an increasing turnover in excess of £35m.
Due to growth and a full order book for the foreseeable future they now require a planner/programmer to take a lead role in centralising the companies project programs and Labour plans.
*To provide program and labour histogram support to the estimating department at tender stage
*To take a lead role across company projects, in developing and updating construction programs
*Full ownership of all planning and programming requirements
*Review Sub-contractor schedules and risk analysis
*Produce progress/program reports in conjunction with project team and client requirements.
*Produce look-ahead programs and highlight critical paths and linked KPI's
Skills and Requirements:
*I.T Literate and fully conversant with Excel, Word, MS Project, Asta or similar software
*Operational and programming experience within the construction industry
*Ability to be self motivated and work to deadlines
*Knowledgeable of project planning processes and project life cycle
*Ability to programme and plan commercial projects up to £10m
*Knowledge of procurement processes and the required for designing and building commercial projects
*Reporting directly to the company operations director
*CSCS Card holder
*Construction, Fit-Out or Refurbishment contracting experience
This is a permanent position with a fair bit of room for progression that will be based between their head office and their sites.
