The company
This is a fantastic company to work for who are predominantly based in London and the South East. They aim to be the largest social housing main contractor within the next ten years. With large ambitions, they are seeking like-minded people to step in the business to help with this movement. The company has over a hundred years of service to maintenance, new build and refurbishment markets. My client is very financially stable and has recently taken over another business in the Midlands to further strengthen. My client has won many awards for their consistent over achieving on projects and delivery. I believe they are one of, if not possibly the best company at this moment in time in their field.

Job role/criteria:

* The company have a Regeneration/Community Liaison Manager opportunity based in their head office. The Main objectives of the role are to:
* Manage and deliver innovative social value aligned to community aspirations
* To ensure community engagement initiatives and programmes meet and in time, exceed the social value plan
* To ensure we are involved in supporting worthwhile causes with innovative and resourceful aspirations in keeping with our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy (CSR) and promotion of Social Value delivery
* Work with the Community Investment and Regeneration Delivery Groups to ensure the Social Value Plan aligns with community aspiration
* Provide robust measurement against our Community Investment Activity report
* Manage the investment budget, providing business cases for proposed improvements
* Coordinate training, work experience and employment opportunities across all partners
* Liaise with the Client regarding any improvement to the facilities serving the Estate
* Liaise with local colleges to maximise opportunities for residents
* Use our position of visiting/ working with every resident to promote Estate facilities
* Act as a catalyst for coordinating key partners for the duration of the works & beyond
* Track funding pots, making and supporting applications to relevant bodies to secure tangible Estate improvements, working at all times with appropriate local stakeholder's
* Administer funding body performance returns to ensure full monies are achieved
* Source, support and facilitate training for Volunteers as a route to work and fulfilment
* Look at the barriers to inclusion and employment and provide mitigating measures

Education, experience and essential:

* Minimum three years' experience managing and delivering community or regeneration projects with a training, skills and employability bias
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
* Good at developing relationships
* Good team player
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Able to manage work load and respond to deadlines
* Able to work remotely
* Good IT skills
* Good budget management and reporting skills
* Good level of math's and English skills
