Adecco have an exciting opportunity for an Interim Company Maintenance Manager based in the Aberdeen City Centre. The role is to develop and establish a maintenance company, which delivers a high quality, value for money and maintenance service to our client and other service users.

Key Responsibilities

~ To recruit and lead our clients team, to ensure it is compliant with all legislation's, financial and regulatory requirements.
~Train and motivate the team to deliver and excellent, cost effective service.
~Report to the Board on the development of the new venture
~Ensure quality control procedures are in place to achieve a "right first time ethos"
~Establish and develop a governance and administrative processes including stock control, invoicing, purchasing and contract documentation to ensure smooth running of day to day operations
~Overall responsibility of delivering future growth
~Manage a Business Planning process including planning, preparation, management and monitoring of budgets
~Develop and management of an employee incentive scheme
~Responsibility for exploring external opportunities for growth
~Ensuring customer satisfaction comments and complaints are collected, monitored and analyses to improve the service delivered
~Responsible for ensuring the company has satisfactory performance management systems in place
~Prepare and deliver reports to the Board of Directors on finance performance, productivity and future business opportunities
~Refine, prepare and install all required policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal/insurance requirements
~Set up and implement 1st Touch scheduling system

Person Specification

Degree level education or demonstrable equivalent experience through relevant skills, training or work experience

~Developing and managing budgets
~Effective project/contract management
~Developing and delivering business plans and strategies of growth
~Contributing at a Senior Level and developing a diverse team
~Preparing PQQ's and tender submissions
~Knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures and regulations as they relate to Health & Safety


~Knowledge and understanding of the construction/maintenance industry
~Strong verbal and interpersonal skills demonstrated through the effective presentation and preparation of written reports
~Ability to manage staff and service performance
~Ability to demonstrate professional integrity with regards to sensitive or personal matters
~Ability to drive the business effectively.
