We are looking for Supervisors to manage a busy site in Iver, the company is the leading global business services provider focused on modular space, secure portable storage solutions, and work force accommodation management. They build, install and repair portable cabins to hire out to their customers to be used on building sites or festivals etc as temporary office, toilet blocs, canteens etc.
This is a temp to perm role, generally temp for 13 weeks then depending on performance you will be taken on permanently.
The role is for a Supervisor overseeing all aspects of the yard and workshop duties. Controlling a small team and managing all aspects of the site.
To ensure productivity is maximised and quality levels are kept high. Main responsibilities Planning for existing orders, maintenance and servicing and dealing with fleet enquiries and damage control. To report and investigate any accidents or incidents on site in a timely manner. To work in a safe and sensible manner within the boundaries of the Company Health and Safety Policy and any additional site restrictions. Weekly & Monthly documenting and reporting overtime worked to HQ and reporting total hours inc. holiday, sickness & overtime for pay role. Manage absence that includes conducting 'return to work' interviews
* Manage disciplinary and performance issues. Identifying resourcing requirements and following relevant processes to ensure recruitment needs meet. This will include completing requisitions, shortlisting candidates, interviewing and providing feedback. Responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety within the yard inc. training, PPE, plant & machinery (tools/ladders etc...) Schedule vehicle maintenance for FLT's, & service vehicles. Key Factors for success Communicating in a calm & collective manner. Forming good working relationships with both customers & suppliers. The ability to prioritise efficiently to achieve the end result. The ability to remain aware of the cost implications throughout the task. The ability to present yourself in a smart & professional manner at all times. Job Experience Good communication skills. The ability to motivate their team. The ability to plan their team's workload to ensure targets are met. Organised and motivated with the ability to achieve targets under pressure. Good Man & time Management, good communication, time management. The ability to understand and carry out a verbal or written instruction. Customer focused. The ability to adapt to changing working conditions. Work Experience P+L understanding for material and labour cost control.
