The design office will lead the detailed design modelling of modular and offsite building solutions in advance of Production ensuring our clients requirements are carefully and fully detailed into BIM / CAD models and production drawings.

Elements Europe Ltd is a busy modular construction facility in Telford, Shropshire, offering a new approach to the development and delivery of offsite construction solutions. We also have offices in Watford, London.
Our multi-million pound projects range from residential adaption pods, to our award winning Room Pod solution used in hotels, student accommodation and care homes across the UK.
Who we're looking for
The role is to supervise and coordinate the office's Building Information Modelling (BIM) effort. It will also involve participation in developing and maintaining Elements BIM standards and techniques, and will support project teams in implementing these solutions.
•Organises BIM Coordinators and provides direct support to project teams to ensure office-wide end user support
•Implements Revit and other design software in compliance with Elements BIM standards
"Maintains the PBU"s BIM standards and participates in the CBU/Group BIM efforts
•Is a resource and team member in all phases of projects; duties may include that of a BIM Coordinator including managing folder structure and file-naming strategy, use of templates and documenting specific project procedures
•Ensures that configurations and other customisations are complete, in place and limited to those that are supportable and in line with standards and project procedures
•Evaluates BIM skills of new hire and potential hires; provides orientation and training on Elements UK standards and guidelines, in the support of design software use
•Maintains current knowledge of BIM and other design software, industry developments in integrated practice, and other applicable techniques
Key competencies required include:
•Educated to a minimum of bachelor degree level, with extensive experience in the relevant field
•Excellent skills in Revit required, AutoCAD and other software a plus
•Ability to resolve BIM design issues, develop and enforce BIM documentation and workflow processes
•Can act as an auditor for model compliance, quality control and troubleshoot problems
•Proficiency in MS Office Outlook, Word and Excel
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Team player with leadership skills
