My client is an independent agency that is focused on optimising and leveraging our clients most valuable asset, data, underpinned by a range of technology platforms that span the full market technology landscape. Having worked within the data industry for over 40 years, for a wide range of blue chip clients and iconic brands, They are well placed to give sound advice and implement successful data-centric solutions. Our core services include:

• Developing data driven platforms through which to engage with customers

• Delivering data governance and management solutions to underpin such engagement

• Implementation and support of a wide range of third party marketing tools such as IBM, Adobe, ExactTarget, FastStats and StrongView

• Recommending and implementing multichannel marketing automation tools to drive campaigns and conversations

• Developing strategies for marketing in a Connected world, and deploying communications via a collection of channels, such as email, sms, website, DMP, mobile, social etc

• Providing data visualisation software for measurement, reporting, Business Intelligence and scenario planning

• Supporting the analysis and derivation of insights from clients first party and third party data to fuel their marketing strategies

• Offering an independent consultancy service advice on strategic planning and specific CRM scenarios

Throughout every project, their ultimate aim is to provide exactly what their clients need to drive business growth whether their goal is to increase revenue, acquire customers or improve customer retention rates. They serve clients spanning a broad range of sectors including Retail, Finance, Automotive, Manufacturing, Travel & Leisure and Telecommunications.

Role Overview:

They have an exciting vacancy for a Senior Account Manager (SAM) to join their team working on a major automotive client. You will be managing a prestigious brand and so will be required to travel to and work onsite with the client team (based in Milton Keynes).

Reporting into the Client Engagement Director you will be a key player in their team and will be the main go-to person for the client, other agencies and within my client.

Key Responsibilities:

• On-site support for client at least 1 day a week (and at meetings as required)

• Responsible for ensuring operational excellence across all areas of including database management, campaign delivery, email management and campaign reporting

• First line support for all client issues/ requirements and ensuring at all times that we are professionally represented on the client site whilst maintaining strong lines of communication with the wider team

• Ensuring that all campaigns and projects are delivered correctly and on time

• Managing a Campaign Executive and ensuring that campaign timings/processes are clear and adhered to

• Working closely with key client stakeholders to ensure that key milestones are achieved i.e. approval of briefs, copy and assets

• Second line support for strategic discussions and working closely with the CED to ensure that the strategic vision is supported by the campaign activity

• Working with the Data Insight team to understand key learnings and ensure that these are applied within the campaign targeting

• Managing the campaign reporting process, including QlikView and bespoke reports in FastStats and via the Data Intelligence team

• Financial responsibility, including management of financial KPIs and margins, and management of SLAs and reporting

Essential Skills:

• They anticipate the suitable candidate will possess 3+ years experience working in a digital/CRM/Data agency or client side experience with thorough knowledge of databases and data driven marketing, campaign delivery and managing end to end CRM programs essential

• Experience of managing commercials; working to agreed and scoped budgets and resource levels

• Proven ability to understand marketing strategy and be able to work with the CED to ensure that this can be delivered through the customer communication programs

• Ability to work closely with Data Intelligence team and understand the value of data analytics, including customer segmentation and modelling, with a particular emphasis on automotive marketing

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to gain gravitas with the client early on and act as the face of my client

• A team player with the ability to balance client priorities with agency commercials
