An NHS Assistant Project Manager is required to work on a 3 month contract basis (with a view to become permanent) based in Frimley.|
Working for a well established organisation you will be Working with other members of the IM&T Programme Management , planning, supporting, facilitating and monitoring the performance and progress of projects.
Role and responsibilities:
-Contributing to short, medium and long term project planning
-Assist in the production of business cases that impact organisation wide
-Produce a range of project document to a high level in line with IM&T standards including project plans, risk and issue logs, quality logs and issue logs.
-Where required produce other project documentation such as Project initiation documents, project closure and lessons learned reports.
-Developing plans to address project risks and issues and help identify action to implement.
-Help escalate project risks and issues that cannot be resolved at project level. ? Working with other team members ensure that IM&T agreed change control procedures are implemented and are actively used to assess the effect of any change to the project in terms of cost, timescales and resources
-Assist in the development of remedial plans to bring projects back to plan or negotiate agreed project variances
-Experience in an administration function or similar with relevant experience to this role and evidence of strong organisation skills
-Experience of working in a project environment
-Experience of working a large complex organisation such as NHS hospital environment or equivalent
-Understanding of principles, methods, techniques and tools for effective project management
-Degree level qualification or relevant experience
-Knowledge of Prince 2
-Evidence of continuing professional and management development
You may be required to work out of hours to support projects during times of key activity.
This role will pay up to £21.50 per hour (ltd/umbrella) depending on level of experience and is to start ASAP with a strong view to become permanent
