I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Portfolio Planner to Join a large business in Warwick. It will be part of your responsibility to strategically plan and manage outage works, liaising with sites, engineers and customers ensuring all risk and impact assessments are taken into consideration. The successful candidates in these roles will be logical thinkers, with the ability to multitask, influence and negotiate. It is highly desirable for you to have previous planning experience and an appreciation for complex assets within a property portfolio. |
The role as an Assistant Portfolio Planner entails,
You will support activities which develop, monitor and manage the work portfolios, ensuring the implementation of any outputs from activities are executed using a variety of planning tools and databases;
Ensure work packs are built accurately and in line with the development of the portfolio and any changes are managed appropriately;
Ensure that the quality of data represented in all planning tools and systems is accurate by actively checking the integrity and where any discrepancies are found the data is corrected in a robust and efficient manner to establish that the data quality standards are maintained;
Provide support to Portfolio Planners to ensure that targets are on track for achievement and that any risk to targets are identified and highlighted utilising KPI's;
Support to re-plan work that hasn't been delivered at the earliest available opportunity. Also ensure that appropriate risk assessments data actions are carried out as require
The desired skills as an Assistant Portfolio Planner are as follows,
It is highly desirable for you to have a GNVQ Level 3 and/or relevant experience;
Experience of working with data systems and delivering outputs to tight timescales whilst maintaining accuracy.
Experience of communicating with multiple interfaces using both written and oral communication.
Good time management, the ability to work to deadlines and to prioritise work with minimal supervision.
Numerate and computer literate.
Familiarity with MS excel, MS access and the planning systems (similar to PRIMAVERA, for example)
Experience of prioritising work based on cost, risk, performance data.
