An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Systems Leader to work within Central Government on a contract basis. This position is based in Salisbury initially until June 2017 offering up to £535 per day ltd.|
Key stakeholders for this role are the Project Manager and Project Technical Authority for the OC Enablers project, and Group Leaders within Dstl's Cyber & IS Division.
o Staffing and defining business needs and Delivery plans and other documents based on light touch guidance from project and programme leadership based on the Cyber Operating Model to support the Dstl NOCP programme
o Seeking input from internal stakeholders and looking to define what 'good' looks like
o Defining, socialising and getting buy in to new processes and ways of working from internal stakeholders communities (project, programme and corporate).
o Understanding and researching the current prossess and ways of working within the Dstl NOCP programme.
o Researching equivalent processes and ways of working used by other NOCP partners
o Arranging socialisation of products with external stakeholders, including arranging meetings and transferring materials
o Making changes to Dstl processes, both formal and informal as part of Dstls NOCP Tranche 2 programme of work. (e.g. security clearance, use of industry, IT and accommodation requirements)
o Support internal programme and project team members in making new processes and ways of working business as usual
Evidence of writing briefing papers
Evidence of workshop preperation
Knowledge of best practice in business change.
A track record of building strong relationships with OGD's on Cyber projects e.g. NOCP.
A track record in defining business needs and delivering Delivery Plans on behalf of client organisations.
2. A track record in quickly and effectively building productive working relationships with staff delivering scientific and engineering services.
The candidates for this post will ideally have a minimum 2:1 degree. A professional background in mathematics, physics, science or engineering would be an advantage.
