Major travel services business with great working culture and major Business Transformation Programmes at hand, requires a PMO Analyst to join its team in Crawley, close to Gatwick Airport. Good challenge and great benefits assured.

Reporting to the Programme Office Manager, the PMO Analyst will support the management and delivery of business project portfolios. This will include the planning, reporting, cost and benefit tracking; providing assurance services and maintaining repositories of best practice to promote a focus on lessons learned. The PMO Analyst will support the Programme Office using their expertise to drive improvements and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the PMO function.

Specifically, the PMO Analyst will be responsible for the following:

- Develop processes and tools to support the project portfolio of change
- Develop and maintain relationships and customer satisfaction with key stakeholders
- Support project and programme management processes and continuously ensure they are aligned to business needs, and that Project Managers and their teams are supported through the end to end project governance process
- Continually seek improvements in Programme Office processes, tools and frameworks, proactively gathering information, and testing and trialing concepts
- Spot themes, trends and anomalies through data analysis to enable better business decision making
- Maintain project controls, processes, reporting and tracking of internal (Programme Office) KPI`s
- Support the end-to-end project governance lifecycle
- Work with Finance to devise, support and continually improve project cost, performance and benefits tracking
- Maintain financial controls and systems, including budgeting for all project expenditure
- Maintain central repository of best practice, ensuring a focus on lessons learned at all stages of a project
- Manage the Time Tracking and resource management process
- Support Programme Board and Prioritisation Meetings (and other) as required
- Deputise for Programme Office Manager as required, including sending fortnightly updates

The successful PMO Analyst will be able to demonstrate the following expertise and qualifications:

- Financial analysis experience in project or programme cost management
- Advanced Excel skills (essential), MS Project, MS Office and Visio (basic level)
- Pro-active nature, using own initiative with attention to detail
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Team player with positive attitude towards project risks and issues

Though not essential, it would be highly beneficial to your application if you can demonstrate knowledge of Prince2 and Agile methodologies and an understanding of IT software development processes.
