Exceptional travel company requires a Digital Project Manager to join its Digital team in the Kingston-upon-Thames area, focusing on the development of cutting edge e-commerce websites and platforms for one of its specialist brands. |
With demonstrable experience of managing digital projects within an Agile / Scrum environment, the Digital Project Manager will plan and execute multiple projects within time and budget, defining objectives and overseeing quality throughout the full development lifecycle across an e-commerce conversion stream.
Though the bulk of the projects will relate to the development of e-commerce web systems, working within a busy PMO at the heart of a major travel business, the Digital Project Manager will also be involved in the management of commercially focused projects, working with a variety of teams and senior stakeholders across the organisation.
The successful Digital Project Manager will be able to demonstrate experience working on digital projects, with an ability to manage concurrent work streams and work in a flexible manner - quickly understanding the needs of the businesses, working with a variety of stakeholders and showing a willingness to work on projects of a varied focus when required.
More specifically, you will have a good all round knowledge of web technologies with particular experience of working within an Agile / Scrum environment to deliver on ongoing improvements to first class customer-facing B2C websites - up to and including the ability to act as Scrum Master, where necessary.
You will be able to express clearly how you`ve managed concurrent projects, overcoming challenges to deliver within time and budget and ensuring that quality work is completed.
On a personal level, you will possess excellent skills of persuasion, be motivational toward others and naturally communicate your exceptional customer focus to all around you, always encouraging others to adopt the same attitude.
This is a great opportunity to join an excellent digital department working within a very fast paced environment and on a host of leading e-commerce holiday brand websites and supporting systems.
In return for your digital project management skills and valued contribution you will be rewarded with a salary of up to £65,000 plus a benefits package including 25 days holiday, a pension, private healthcare and life assurance.
