Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) required to be based on the outskirts of Bury. The Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias)is an opportunity to come in to a multinational organisation who are going through an exceptional period of growth and investment in to the facility equipment. It also offer the opportunity for a career path in the engineering management with exceptional training.
This role is working, traditionally, Monday to Friday on early and lates (no nights). It may involve, at times, travel to their London site for maintenance there but this will not be often and will be fully expensed.
For the Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) you will be the senior professional on site and responsible for both the proactive and reactive maintenance for the equipment and ultimately the facility - around 60% electrical and 40% mechanical . You will have AC/DC faultfinding skills as well as experience around hydraulic systems and mentoring the more junior members of staff. It is important you set up new and relevant PPM systems for the company and will be heavily involved in the new machinery coming in.

For the Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) we are looking for an established professional who is apprentice trained and is NVQ level 3 with, ideally, 17th edition. The sector you have experience is not massively important, as long as you have experience within a production / manufacturing environment.
* Apprentice trained and is NVQ level 3 with, ideally, 17th edition
* Mechanical skills also
* Experience in production / manufacturing
* Experience of maintenance of hydraulics / pressing / /mixing rooms / pumps
* Ability to impose PPM's and all kinds of reactive maintenance.
