Salary banding £38k to £43k

To provide leadership and support to the team in order to achieves defined targets. Responsible for the coordination and safe delivery of the day to day operations ensuring overall performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability for the operational activities. Ensuring compliance, maximising efficiency and delivery for customer and business deadlines.
This position is responsible for Production Operatives, Team Leaders and planners and will be required to carry out regular reviews to assess adherence to targets.
3 Team Leaders will report to each Module Manager and there are 4 Module Manager
Ensure that all activities and responsibilities reflect company policy and business objectives.
Module Managers will be responsible for the skills matrices and training plans, ensuring that they are current, identify skills gaps & programme skills development.
Review and revise management, cost control and reporting systems necessary to achieve satisfactory execution and control of operational activities and performance
Use KPI's and data to measure and drive operational performance on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis
Ensure that the module achieves and improves production requirements in accordance with business requirements
Provide overall sign-off of module/cell production build plans
Define, measure & analyse MoPs and ensure targets achieved
Maintain module manning levels to meet long/short term capacity requirements.
Ensure compliance, maximising efficiency and delivery for customer and business deadlines
Train and develop team members through the effective use of Personal Development Plans, Appraisals and succession planning
Build, recruit and retain a strong performance focused team
To promote and drive continuous improvement, productivity and efficiency activities within the module
Responsibility for all issues relating to Health & Safety and the Environment within their operation
Perform other reasonable duties as requested by manager
Extensive experience in an aerospace/manufacturing operational role
Proven leadership experience in delivering productivity
Good understanding of financial and commercial aspects of operations management
Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate and managing diverse teams
Highly energised and the ability to motivate with a high level of commitment
Ability to prioritise, demonstrating first class organisation skills and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing and demanding environment
