The Raleigh, North Carolina office of WSP|Parsons Brinckerhoff has an immediate opening for a bridge engineer. The individual must be an enthusiastic and motivated candidate who will be responsible for the structural analysis and design of a variety of structure types, the majority of which would be related to highway bridges.

The selected candidate will primarily be responsible for the following duties:
      • Perform structural analysis and design of bridge structures
      • Coordinate closely with other structural engineers on projects
      • Coordinate with other disciplines
      • Participate in plan production

Job Requirements
      • Professional Engineer's (PE) license required as well as ability to obtain in North Carolina within the first year
      • Minimum 4 years experience in bridge engineering
      • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. A Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering (structures emphasis) preferred
      • Experience with at least one analysis software (e.g. LARSA, SAP 2000) is a plus
      • Experience with at least one CADD platform (MicroStation preferred)
      • Design-Build pursuit and/or project experience is a plus
      • Good verbal and written communication skills
      • Accustomed to working in a team environment on challenging projects
      • Ability to immediately work in this country is required
