Leading and coordinating the multi-disciplined specialists to produce technically brilliant design solutions for large complex construction projects will be every day activities for Principal Engineers. Our Client is recognized as a market leader in the use of BIM and Analysis Software to produce intelligent Digital Assets that our Clients can utilize for the lifecycle of the project and Principal Engineers will be adept at explaining the benefits and managing the production of these deliverables, placing them at the forefront of the industry.


Principal Engineers will attract great people to work with them to develop a strong, profitable and sustainable teams. Team members will be inspired and motivated by working with Principal Engineers, who recognize the benefit that personally investing in the professional development of junior staff brings to themselves, their team and the company’s reputation.


Skills / Competencies / Experience:

  • Qualified to either Degree level (preferably Grade 2:1 or above) in a relevant discipline with 10-years relevant experience.
  • Chartered Member of relevant professional institution.
  • IOSH Managing Safely and current CSCS Card.
  • Be capable of working on their own initiative, without supervision and have ability to deputise for their Line Manager.
  • Have proven ability to pursue and develop business opportunities
  • Be able to work in close collaboration with team members of other disciplines and have an appreciation of their role
  • Have in-depth knowledge of relevant Design Standards and Legislation
  • Maintain awareness of all relevant technologies and NA ability to make site decisions
  • Have a high attention to detail and ability to instill standards of pride and excellence in their team
  • Have good organization and prioritizing skills
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to manage resources effectively and efficiently, with strong skills in developing staff.
  • Demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm
  • Familiarity with relevant software packages such as Multi-suite, TEDDS, MS Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Info-works etc.
