Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Architect in our Dallas, TX office.

AECOM's Buildings Places business line is dedicated to excellence and integrated design solutions. With a range of expertise from strategy through project realization, the connections we make among people and places provide new insight to better outcomes for clients and communities. Our expertise includes workplace strategy, economic and development planning, master planning, urban planning, architecture, interiors, building engineering, and landscape architecture. Our B P team is leading the industry with visionary and forward-thinking projects such as the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA; Liberty Park at the World Trade Center, New York, NY; the Lower Manhattan Coastal Resilience (Big U), NY; and the LA 2024 Olympic bid.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist staff architects and will be responsible for Building Information Modeling (BIM) management and drafting of project designs and construction documents
  • Work with minimal direction and may oversee the work of less experienced designers
  • Work with teams across business lines, in remote locations, and/or coordination with subcontractors and may include business development and marketing support for proposals and presentations
  • Travel to client sites globally on assigned projects (travel is estimated at 5% but could vary based on project requirements)
  • Assist with development of fee proposals and work plans
  • Assist with consultant selection and coordination of their work
  • Lead coordination with building officials and other AHJ's

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB)
  • 10 years of experience working to deliver a variety of project types using Revit ranging from design through construction administration
  • Registered Architect in the state of Texas
  • Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM)/REVIT

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Sketchup
