Our client is an established, yet fast growing manufacturer of sustainable building technology solutions for the construction industry and is currently seeking three Sales Managers (New York, Chicago and Vancouver, Canada). The ideal candidate will have a technical education, preferably in the line of Engineering, Architecture, or similar, with a proven track record of sales experience, particularly to Architects, Developers, General Contractors and other Construction Professionals. He or she will be responsible for building and managing the company's sales, business development, and key account management activities in the respective location, and consequently driving revenue growth and profitability for the company. In particular, s/he will:Together with the senior management, develop and implement sales strategies within the assigned NA an in-depth market and customer analysis and present information to management and develop appropriate NA key players in the market (e.g. architects, engineers, developers) and build strategic relationships with these NA all Sales activities, including cold calls, sales negotiations, NA product trainings, lunch-and-learns, seminars, and product NA outstanding customer support; manage inquiries, consulting, complaints and other customer-related NA in budget planning and NA regular and detailed reporting of sales pipeline, forecast and NA other duties as assigned. Requirements:Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, business development and/or key account managementSolid experience selling complex technical products into the building / construction markets preferredTechnical education required (e.g. Engineering, Architecture, etc.)Knowledge of thermal, acoustical, and/or reinforcement technology solutions would be desirable, but not requiredExperience dealing with, or selling to, architects, engineers, contractors, developers, and specifiersBackground in construction project management preferred; technical experience working in a construction site or within a construction company is desirableEffective interpersonal and relationship management skills Compensation: generous salary and variable compensation, plus full benefits Solid training is also provided.
