Baker Hughes, Inc. has an opportunity for an Upstream Chemicals Account Manager in Central Permian, TX. This role will be focused in Big Spring, TX, Andrews, TX and/or Odessa, TX.   • Assists with the development and implementation of sales strategies to increase sales and profits through major accounts.
  • Assists with the development of short and long range sales goals.
  • Builds strong customer relationships.
  • Responsible for training customers and sales personnel.
  • Handles special projects, as assigned.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in Upstream Chemicals
  • 5 years of experience in Account Management or Sales
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of sales process and ability to close business.
  • Fundamental knowledge of commercial and contract language.
  • Good mathematical and technical aptitude.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Ability to coach others.
  • Team player.
  • Knowledge of competitive market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • This position requires up to 15% travel. Typical travel will not be over night.
