Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Compliance Manager to be based in our Jersey City, New Jersey location.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Compliance records and ensure reporting as required by NJT, the FTA and the various regulatory agencies
  • Coordinate with NJT Compliance staff
  • Represent TFCRC during audits by NJT, the FTA and the various Sandy regulatory agencies
  • Establish and maintain lines of communications regarding compliance with NJT, the FTA and the various regulatory agencies. Respond to audit inquiries.
  • Coordinate field visits and activities with NJT Internal Oversight Monitors
  • Assist with NJT Risk Register as required
  • Maintain documents and records including correspondence
  • Prepare, review and process documents from subcontractors
  • Maintain liaison with AECOM New York office as necessary
  • Assure that all Contract documents are submitted as required
  • Monitor and keep the project appraised of problem areas and actions taken
  • Assure project commercial documents are completed properly and monitor the flow of documents to ensure compliance is maintained.
  • Act with integrity in all elements of responsibility
  • Review supplier, subcontractor and client invoices for correctness and compliance with the Contract
  • Review purchase requisitions for Sandy materials and subcontractors for compliance.

All internal candidates interested in applying must have a clean discipline record for the previous year (from 09/29/15 to 09/29/16).

Internal craft candidates interested in applying must have completed the probationary period, if applicable, for the position they currently maintain as specified in the agreement between AECOM and TWU Local 229.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or a related field or demonstrated equivalent.

  • 10 years of accounting experience.

  • CPA or MBA
