Key Duties & Responsibilities
o Liaising with customers, supplier and third party carriers
o Negotiating prices with clients to match requirements
o Processing orders and quotations to customer requirements
o Processing purchase orders to suppliers
o Product support to customers
o Pro-active selling and monitoring of established customers
o Following orders through from start to finish
o Working with the External Sales team
o Achieving set monthly team sales targets
o Accurate communication with all departments and regional sites
o Customer database maintenance
o Maintain overview of stock profile

The key skill required to be successful in this role is an ability to think outside the box. We offer our customers a bespoke service, meaning many of our quotes are negotiated. Successful negotiation is only efficient once our staff become commercially aware; this takes a great deal of commitment, but brings its own rewards.
The right candidate will have the ability to gain the customer trust through competence and a willingness to go the extra mile. An enthusiastic person with a real desire to work as part of a team and strive to gain true Customer/Suppler partnerships, would suit this role perfectly.
