About The Electrician Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer (bias Electrician) to join our company in the Cambridgeshire area, reporting to the Project Supervisor, the role will require you to carry out day to day reactive repairs, electrical inspection and testing, fault finding and electrical installations. You will be expected to demonstrate experience in carrying out basic Plumbing, Joinery and Building Repairs and Maintenance,
The Electrician position includes a company van, fuel card, uniform and PDA. All training is provided to help you do the job to the best of your ability.
Hours of work are 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with a requirement to cover out of hours call-outs on a rota basis.
The ideal Electrician:
You should be a customer focused individual, experienced in working in occupied properties with a passion for completing a high quality repair on time and at the first visit. You will have a 'can do' attitude and be flexible with your approach to your working day.
Ideally you will have experience of working in the social housing sector.
You must hold a valid UK Driving Licence as a company vehicle will be provided (for work use only).
As a minimum you should have:
17th Edition Electrical, 2391 or 2394/2395
And evidence of fulfilling the Multi-Skilled Role.
Although note essential having the following qualifications would be advantageous:
PASMA, PAT Testing, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness, further qualifications to support the role.
