Role & Responsibilities

Flakt Woods Group is looking for someone with AHU, Heat Recovery, Chiller and Fan experience. Their role will be to promote FW?s technology solutions and fire safety systems through the consultant marketplace in the London area with a strong ability to create specifications around FWG product portfolio. The candidate?s primary focus will be on AHU?s, however typically for every project they will also incorporate chillers, fans and associated equipment. We are therefore looking for the individual to add value at every opportunity with the full product range. Ideally working in and around London 4 days a week and typically spending 1 day on proposals, quotes etc.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
To obtain specifications for Flakt Woods Limited products, through mechanical consultants, local authorities, end-users and design build contractors.
Present pre-approved Flakt Woods CIBSE CPD on Energy Recovery, ERP Legislation & Part L.

Performance Measurement:
The successful applicant will be measured on an ongoing basis against agreed targets for specifications, CPD & secured products & projects.

Additional Duties, Responsibilities & Measurements:
Co-ordinating tenders & submittals with designated back office support.
General administration of the region.
Promoting entire product portfolio.
Input into national sales and marketing strategy, providing feedback on competitor activity, changing customer needs, etc.
Person Specification/Profile
A strong technical bias, experienced in providing a performance-based product selection service.
Comfortable operating at all levels, including regional directors of major contractors, architects, consultants, project managers and site-based staff.
Minimum 3-years experience of selling HVAC products to consultants & contractors or working for a M&E consultant practice
Strong background within CIBSE
Previous connections and proven relationships with M&E Consultants in the South and London.
Knowledge of air conditioning and ventilation systems would be highly desirable.
Strong selling skills; ability to demonstrate strong track record.
Ideally a Building Services Degree in Engineering or equivalent with excellent working knowledge of both air handling units, chillers and fans (including design and application).
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office software.
Valid UK driving licence.
Excellent presentational and inter-personal skills with ability to present CIBSE approved CPDs to M&E consultants
