About the job:
Based at Integrated Water Services Fleet Office and reporting to the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of all remedial works site based activities within our electrical operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient deployment of field based service operatives, effective management of health & safety, optimisation of productivity, profitability of contracts, quality control of service delivery and liaison with clients and suppliers. You will also be responsible for the deployment and supervision of electrical Supervisors and craftsman, responsible for minor capital framework projects from conception to delivery, British Standard Quality controls, NICEIC Accreditation and the development of existing and newly formed client relationships. The Individual will be expected to take responsibility for efficient utilisation of the resource available, procurement of material and effective project cost control, along with heightened productivity and profitability.
About the successful applicant:
The successful applicant will work predominantly within the South East area and be located within the Hampshire/Kent area and should be IT literate in MS packages and bespoke computer databases, well organised and have a high level of customer care skills. Applicants will have extensive knowledge in Electrical/Mechanical pumping station infrastructure, flood defence rotating plant and associated equipment, SCADA & telemetry systems, sluice gates, weirs and locks, conversant with planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns and qualified to a level 4 Electrical grade, minimum HNC/HND Electrical Engineering
