Based at Integrated Water Services offices/depot in Walsall, West Midlands reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of mechanical engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of all projects on time and within agreed budgets. You will be expected to take responsibility for efficient planning and utilisation of the resource available, maintenance of high standards of quality, health and safety, and liaison with clients as required. The role will require flexible working hours, business travel and participation in a standby rota.

To succeed, you will ideally be qualified to at least a City & Guilds Part 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent NVQ Level 3. You will also ideally have completed a mechanical engineering apprenticeship and have proven experience in a similar role in water or associated industries. The successful candidate will need previous supervisory experience, including planning and organisation of resources and budget control. A driving licence is required for this role and experience in the use of Microsoft Office programmes is also essential.
