Principle Project Manager (24.15 paye £30.25 Ltd)|
You will be working for a large healthcare organisation giving you a great opportunity to enhance your carer and CV in this exciting and challenging role.
You will be reporting to the HIS Project and Communications Manager. You will as Principal Project Manager be responsible for the delivery of a number of high-profile, high risk specialist projects or releases, typically with large budgets of circa £5m - £11m.
You will take responsible for delivering of major projects, establishing and maintaining the correct structures to control and monitor the deliverables to the business.
Your role will be responsible, in conjunction with the Senior Responsible Owner / Project Executive for defining the benefits, assessing progress towards realisation, and achieving measured improvements.
You will need to implement the strategy through the co-ordination of activities within the healthcare organisation.
You will make a contribution to the management and on-going development of the Projects and Communications Team and on occasions, you may be asked to deputise for the HIS Project and Communications Manager.
You will have extensive practical Project Management experience of large scale projects within an IT environment.
You will be used to dealing with concurrent projects. You will also have extensive first hand practical experience of large scale / high risk complex projects.
You will be educated to Master Level (or equivalent qualification / experience).
You will be a PRINCE 2 practitioner or have another recognised Project management methodology qualification.
You will have a current driving licence and vehicle as you will need o travel between sites for this role.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be IT literate.
You must have and ability to remain calm and clear under pressure.
