Job Title: Application Support Analyst|
Contract: Maternity cover
Reporting to: AS/IT Manager
Hours of work: 37.5hrs per week - Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm

The IT and Application Support team deploys, manages and supports the technology that allows ByBox to function. Looking after all of ByBox's technological infrastructure, the IT and Application Support team provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support across all aspects of the business, ensuring that every department is equipped for success. The IT and Application Support team also attempt to find ways to make better use of technology in order to make the business more efficient.
The Application Support Analyst is a 1st line application support role, delivering exemplary support to ByBox software applications. The Application Support Analyst monitors incoming support requests, and either resolves or escalates the issues raised, you will ensure that all application support requests are logged as a web-case. The Application Support Anlayst will diagnose all issues to confirm the priority and impact, including whether it's a known issue with an established work around or something new, and how many users are affected.
Do you have excellent analytical and problem solving skills? Are you knowledgeable about IT systems and infrastructure? To succeed in this role, you need to be technically competent, with practical knowledge of installation, configuration, and maintenance of software, alongside a familiarity with computer hardware and network infrastructure. You will be capable of analysing and resolving hardware and software issues through both documentation research and hands-on experiential learning, and keen to take ownership of issues and follow them through to a resolution.
This role is an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of how ByBox works and our applications, which in turn could prove valuable for pursuing a technical IT career within ByBox.
