Location - Portsmouth, Hampshire
Salary - £ 20,000 - £ 25,000 + Benefits
My client is an innovative and entrepreneurial group of companies specialising in Motor, Home and Pet Insurance Services., who are very proud to have featured highly in the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work For' for the past three years running and achieving Investors In People Gold' and Champion' statuses.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking to attract an experienced Business Analyst to join the group based in Portsmouth.
The Business Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders and senior management across the group to understand, rationalise, document and communicate business processes. The purpose of this role will be to own and manage projects from idea, through analysis to recommendation and implementation. To have broad senior stakeholder management experience alongside strong analytical delivery.
•Gather business and client project requirements by capturing details on the context or problem, current state, desired state and objectives
•Create detailed documentation of customer and business requirements, including workflow and functionality
•Present detailed requirements to stakeholders ensure agreement and buy in, ensuring the requirements are specified in a manner suitable for the intended audience and are understandable, unambiguous and capable of being implemented and tested
•Act as co-ordinator between the client, business and any other third parties concerning functionality for the duration of the project lifecycle
•Review and evaluate any proposed solutions ensuring alignment with business and customer requirements and make recommendations to stakeholders ensuring they are fully aware of key risks
•Responsible for ensuring change control and change management procedures are followed within the project team as they relate to requirements
•Assist in the production and validation of Test Plans
•To undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects as instructed by their line manager
•Where applicable, to adhere to Company processes with regards to FCA/FSC compliance and Treating Customers Fairly
•Where applicable, to ensure that DPA, FCA,TCF and other regulatory requirements are met
Key Skills and Knowledge:
•A proven track record in delivery and implementation
•Clear problem solving and analytical skills
•Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels
•Ability to generate ideas and follow them through to a conclusion
•Experience as a Business Analyst
