We are currently seeking an IT Application Developer based at our Crewe site reporting in to the IT Director.
The main purpose of the role will be to support current Unipart applications primarily developed in-house using (url removed) ((url removed)) along with SQL Server and to respond to business requirements to further develop existing applications and where required, develop new applications in response to business needs.
You will become a fully integrated and vital part of the Unipart Rail IT Team, supporting the business as required with application solutions and bringing new technology and ideas to the development team.
Responsible for the full development life cycle of bespoke applications, from initial requirements analysis, application design, development, testing and live system support
Responsible for the support of existing Unipart Rail applications
Administration of multiple IIS instances running on both internal and external facing webservers.
Knowledge & Experience:
5 GCSEs including Maths & English at grade C or above
Education at A-Level or similar
At least 3 years development experience using the .Net Framework (version 4.0 and below)
At least 3 years' experience of SQL Server (Administration, Database Design, T-SQL)

Ability to work as part of a team.
