About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Planning Analyst who is responsible for implementing annual business plans for the Wholesale Waste infrastructure at Severn Trent Water. You will also be responsible for developing waste performance targets for KPI's, ODI's and regulatory commitments, in order to help shape the plan to achieve strategic outcomes over the longer term.
A key aspect of this role is bringing together the delivery of the AMP6 Plan, ensuring tactical strategy in order to maximise outperformance. Furthermore, engagement of this plan will be necessary to translate the plan into meaningful actions for the Wholesale operations team.
Finally, you will have experience in translating external best practice into business improvement activities including; assisting with the engagement of external stakeholders (EA, Defra) and internal stakeholders to gain support for the flooding, pollutions and blockages plan. Also, collaboratively working with performance colleagues and operational and engineering teams to understand root causes of poor performance and determine the likely risks and requirements facing the company to inform business planning.
With experience of data analysis and complex problem solving, the successful candidate will also have sewerage experience, as well as experience of writing succinct technical reports and compelling business case papers, that have stood up to scrutiny by internal or external audits and assurance.
In order to succeed in this position it is vital that you have strong and proven planning and organisational skills, to ensure that work is delivered on time and to the right quality. It is also expected that you will have a good ability to effectively engage with internal stakeholders, varying from operational frontline staff to business leaders.
