Position would suit a Software Engineer or Software Developer with proven experience with embedded microcontroller software design and C, C++ programming languages. Products are specialist acoustic measurement instruments supplied into a number of advanced technology sectors. |

â€¢ £32,000 to £40,000 dependent upon experience plus pension, medical scheme, discounted gym membership, death in service and active social club.
The job will involve:
â€¢ Investigating new technologies and shaping the future of the company's products through design and innovation.
â€¢ Developing embedded system code, interfacing with a range of peripherals including USB, RAM, Flash, ADC's, Serial, SD Cards, Bluetooth, displays, Ethernet
â€¢ Help to identify suitable microcontrollers and RTOS to provide reliable, low power solutions.
â€¢ Working closely with hardware and software engineers to identify software code requirements.
â€¢ DSP design of audio filters.
â€¢ Developing code to comply with the complex acoustic requirements for noise monitoring.
â€¢ Planning and verification testing of new products.
This job will suit:
â€¢ A Software Engineer / Software Developer with experience of using C and C++ programming languages.
â€¢ Proven experience with embedded microcontroller software design.
â€¢ Experience in capturing requirements and demonstrating requirement compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
â€¢ An understanding of electronics systems and communications protocols.
â€¢ Experience of designing with an RTOS and Real Time microcontroller solutions.
â€¢ You are likely to be degree qualified in a Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
