This award winning international power company now employ over a 1000 people in multiple countries worldwide. With its head office in the North West they are a major distributor for a global leading manufacturer of gas-powered engines. This was largely thanks to the company's strong service based operation and enviable reputation for top quality, reliable and accountable customer service.
*To liaise with sales department for increasing the sales pipeline. More focus will be on non-natural gas to power applications, and power plant balance of plant.
*To liaise with after sales service team for increasing the market share for spare parts sales and service sales.
*Closely monitor and follow up technical issues with Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM's) sales team.
*Closely monitor and follow up commercial issues with OEM's sales team in Indian, Austria, Bangladesh / principal's commercial team in UK.
*To keep track of all the sales activities and closely monitor their progress by regular follow ups with the respective stake holders. In addition, to report the progress of all such activities to the Managing Director on weekly basis.
*Forge and maintain strong business relationships with new and existing stakeholders.
*Deliver continuous and innovative improvements to the business
*Strengthen business performance by improving the customer experience
*Ensure standards are maintained for corporate governance/health and safety/employment law and HR best practice
*Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales.
Carry out any other duties that may be considered relevant to the position within the terms of your contract of employment.
