Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Worthing AREA
Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 per annum
Hours: 4on 4off 7 till 7 (rotating nights and days)


A well-established manufacturing company that has almost doubled in size over the last 5 years are looking for an additional Engineer to join their team. The company have a good and friendly environment where team spirit and hard work are encouraged. You can expect it to be fast paced where the work will both challenge and utilise your skills, as well as enjoyable.


As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will provide both electrical and mechanical engineering support throughout the site, to maintain all machinery and equipment to the highest possible standard. You can expect the role to be varied covering not only machinery but site and building services as well. You won?t be expected to know it all, so training and support will be offered. No two days will be the same so flexibility and adaptability are required, with the wiliness to learn and grow.

You will work to a planned maintenance plan, but also help contribute in its improvement and development as the business continues to grow.

In and around the planned maintenance you will be attending to breakdowns carrying out fault finding techniques and repairs. You will also get involved with some minor project work including upgrades and new installations.

Additional responsibilities will include carrying out some basic property / facilities / maintenance - duties as required; including: maintaining lighting systems and general building services (changing light bulbs, some basic plumbing, emergency light testing &Troubleshooting of electrical systems) IT problems such as loss of connectivity and local user issues, and performing routine checks such as PAT testing.


Completed a recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship or hold an electrical engineering qualification as this role is an electrically bias position
Experience maintaining machinery
Worked in the manufacturing industry
Friendly and adaptable working attitude
