Its scalable, advanced oxidation technology is provided on a total system basis from pilot plants through to full scale operations, being application specific. They have full design capability, analysis and testing facilities in house staffed by an experienced team of engineers and technologists.|
This is a very exciting time for the company as they embark on the next phase of their growth and development, which will be significant. At present the teams are involved in the design, specification and build of pilot plants and the next stage is to recruit experienced individuals from the sector who can help them move to the development of full scale, commercially viable, process plants that can be sold into industrial and municipal customers.
The role is to develop the company?s capability to oxidise chemicals via their processes through the optimisation and improvement of the technology, including parameters such as energy usage, efficacy and commercialisation at full scale plant level.
You will help setup a test facility to undertake electrochemical analysis, and develop test protocols to investigate oxidation of organics and regeneration of the adsorbent, with the aim to enhance overall efficiency of the organics destruction cell. The work will involve understanding oxidation mechanisms and their respective contribution (direct vs indirect i.e. OH*, vs Cl- vs direct electron injection), degradation pathways- voltage and current dependence, effect of membrane and electrode materials. You will also be required to liaise with academia and industry, and interact with customers in technical discussions.
Ideally you will have experience in the water treatment sector in particular ozone and / or UV systems. They need to be driven, structured, supportive and friendly - being able to work within a small and developing organisation ? and be comfortable working in an environment which requires a high degree of adaptability and multi-tasking, as opposed to sequential management of projects and tasks
