Our client specialise in the technology industry, dealing predominantly with mobile devices such as ruggedised scanners, mobile phones and tablets, but not exclusively.|
Industry sectors the cover include; warehousing, transport and distribution, the service and maintenance sector as well as healthcare, local government, manufacturing and hospitality.
They sell new and refurbished equipment, offer repair facilities and an outsourced or managed service to their customers, all within the remit of the Managed Services Team.
We have a new opportunity for two enthusiastic individuals who will work with their team of helpdesk engineers, and have the opportunity to learn how to deliver enterprise level technical support and services to a variety of business environments. Their highly skilled team is responsible for managing and maintaining mobile IT infrastructures and supporting business critical applications.
The role will involve providing 1st line support to customers, resolving Mobile Device issues, logging calls and keeping customers informed. You will be responsible for managing and accurately recording helpdesk incidents through to their successful conclusion. You will also be instrumental in the team's overall success.
The training programme is designed to provide you with real-world skills using the most up to date Mobile Managed Services technologies, which will help to transform you into a highly-skilled Helpdesk Engineer with accreditation that is recognised by the world.
In this job you will learn to;
? Manage & document all incoming calls and support tickets in the incident management system
? Support mobile systems for both the company and clients.
? Provide technical support to field operatives and mobile device users.
? Be an ambassador for the OpalTec team in all interactions with business managers and customers.
? Manage the Helpdesk system, ensuring all calls are handled within agreed Service Level Agreements.
? Handle the telephone support calls ? as well as incoming Helpdesk emails.
? Carry out Operating System re-loads, Stage Devices for deployment
? Provide quality and assurance for our customers
Excellent spoken and written English, bi-lingual candidates are of special interest
Demonstrable interest in mobile phone technology and tech generally.
The Company require a proactive Trainee Helpdesk Engineer with an aptitude for communication and an interest in Mobile technology, and IT generally.
Salary negotiable according to background and experience
