Business Support Specialist - SimplexGrinnell

About the role:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the Area Business Support Manager in day-to-day general office duties for multiple districts:
  • Human resource contact for district location (Minimal responsibilities including Employee File maintenance, Employment Verifications, posting maintenance, records custodian)
  • Fleet Coordinator for multiple districts in Area.
  • Processing of general office Accounts Payable for multiple districts.
  • Assist with all audits of district office.
  • Maintain office supply closet and work with Area champion to order office supplies.
  • Provide back-up in other departments during employee absences.
  • Promote good working relations and morale among the office staff.
  • Perform other duties as directed and deemed necessary.

Who we're looking for:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in administrative assistant position.
  • Minimum 1 years experience in human resources – preferred experience with Accurate system and eVerify’s.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Oracle based software general PC knowledge.
  • Experience in extreme multi-tasking and prioritization a must.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
