The business line employs over 60 consultants, who are divided between our offices in Delft and Arnhem. In addition to the areas of permitting, oversight and enforcement, environmental protection and safety Compliance also advises in the area of Waste and Resources.

Your day to day job
MWH is looking for just the right holder with not only the necessary experience, intelligence and creativity - but someone with a deep passion and commitment for environmental best practices. As a MWH Consultant they will work in a fast paced commercial environment with challenging projects. Advising clients in commercial and governmental sectors on licensing and enforcement, the right candidate will directly contribute to the technical knowledge of the field and development of new products derived from market needs.
You will work on challenging projects in which you advise clients on the environmental aspects. You will play a crucial role in coordinating and application for the permits, exemptions and authorizations they need. Conditioning - making sure they clear any obstacles - is very important. You have a diverse range of tasks, though mainly focus on the interface between the technical solution and (the effect on) the environment. You are part of multidisciplinary project teams, working on various projects in the fields of infrastructure, water, urban development and industrial activities. You will work on projects from any of our offices and you will part time be seconded to our clients. You work individually AND with colleagues and we give you the responsibility to successfully manage the client relationship.
Together with colleagues from your team you will contribute to the substantive and technical knowledge / development of our industry. You possess the drive to take responsibility in a commercial environment, you are driven to achieve results and eager to develop your own network. We are looking for the right enthusiastic candidate that focuses on professional cooperation with clients and colleagues.
• At least a bachelor degree and at least 5 years' of experience in the field, looking for a next step in your career
• You have knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the field of spatial planning and the environment. Work experience in both the preparatory and the implementation phase is an advantage
• You are familiar with OLO, IPM, UAV-GC, SCB and DBFM and know what this means for your profession
• You are proactive, analytical, reliable and results- AND client oriented
• You are an entrepreneur: solid and enthusiastic, persuasive
• You are a strong verbal communicator and are able to produce clear and structured reports
