Excellent job for a Senior Building Surveyor based in Lancashire offering an attractive package.

Your new company
You will be working for one of the UK's largest and most diverse multidisciplinary consultancies in the design, management and infrastructure sectors. They are also a market leader in strategic public/private partnerships with local authorities. Due to an increase in workload they are looking to expand the Building Surveying team with a a chartered senior building surveyor based in Lancashire.

Your new role
You will be responsible for service delivery to a wide range of clients in designing solutions in both the private and local authority sectors. You will deliver early stage design and feasibility work. Develop detailed briefs in conjunction with the client. Carry out detailed design work and deliver building projects up to circa £1.5m. Contract administration of building contracts such as JCT minor works. Undertake schedules of condition and detailed condition surveys. Manage and deliver programmes of work controlling resources, outputs and budgets. Manage key client accounts. Mentor and lead building surveyors and graduates. Responsible for resourcing, project monitoring. Undertake Business Development.

What you'll need to succeed or equivalent
You will have a BSc in Building Surveying degree. Good knowledge and experience of using AutoCAD. Experience in the building industry. Ability to establish a good working relationship with clients and colleagues. Self motivated and able to work without supervision. Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. You will ideally have Experience in education, health and leisure projects. Experience in private and local authority sectors. MRICS qualified. Understanding of academies funding. Demolition experience. Heritage and conservation experience. Party Wall experience. Use of NBS Specification Manager, Excel, Word MS Project
