Project Quantity Surveyor - London - Top 10 Main Contractor

Position: Project Quantity Surveyor

Location: Colindale

Salary: up to £65K + generous package

My client is a large multinational main contractor that covers a variety of sectors across the construction industry. They have an annual turnover of over £1bn and employee over 2000 people. They are a cash rich upwardly mobile firm that are looking to grow their business substantially over the next two years. As such this is the perfect time to be joining the firm with lots of opportunity for career progression available as well as the chance to test yourself with one of the country's top contractors.
This role is working for their frameworks division. The work conducted out of this office will work across a range of sectors including commercial, education, healthcare and public sectors.
They are looking for an experienced Project Surveyor to join their existing commercial team. Initially you will be working on a £30m new build project in Colindale reporting in to a Senior Surveyor. The aim is for you to run the project after the first 6 months when the senior will start to manage multiple projects remotely. My client are offering a competitive salary along with excellent long term career prospects.
The successful individual will have a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in the construction industry and will have worked for main contractors in the past. They will have lead their own project from inception through to completion and will have been solely responsible for procurement, subcontract management, cost reporting and final accounts for that project. They will have a steady employment background and previous experience working on new build projects is vital.
