A rare opportunity now exists for a Utilities Co-Ordinator to join a reputable organisation specialising in the delivery of regeneration, extra care and affordable housing schemes from £10m - £40m.
*Providing advice to the design team on servicing new development proposals. *Procurement of formal proposals for utility provision to new developments, including the co-ordination of mains, services, sub-stations and gas governors & utility diversions. *Organize payments for new and temporary services. *Identifying and organizing the isolation and disconnection of services to existing sites prior to demolition and site clearance. *Facilitate meetings with utility companies on site at the commencement and during the progress of developments. *Facilitate to process of the adoption of roads and sewers by attending close-down meetings, inspections with highway sec38, drainage authorities' sec104 and complying with planning sec106, organizing remedial works and overseeing contractors. *Organizing final inspections and surveys.
My client has a number of on-going contracts across the region and holds a healthy order book for 2013/2014; a number of which are part of partnership and framework agreements which run for 5 years+.
The work is varied, offering experience in a broad range of contract types, values and complexities.
