The Company:

Our Client, a well-established construction company who have built some of the most iconic landmarks in the company with a reputation for always delivering projects on time and to an exceptionally high standard.

The Role:
" Interface with the quality and environment manager to ensure all deliverables meet the quality management standard of ISO 9001.
" Monitor inspection and test plan output documentation to ensure it is produced and is complete.
" Review and update the PAP at the require interval throughout the life of the project.
" Develop and implement assurance risk-based surveillance programme for the project.
" Obtain and maintain technical assurance documentation from the relevant design consultants, trade contractors and suppliers.
" Use the LU Approved product database to assist with evaluation of proposed products.
" Conduct technical assurance audits and assessment of the project where necessary.
" Participate in tender, pre-start and progress meetings and other quality related meetings.
" Monitor defect and incomplete works database, producing reports and assistance as required.

The Person:
" A working knowledge of major construction project as an assurance or quality manager is desirable.
" Proven experience of an ability to interface with London Underground is essential, including a sound knowledge of LUL documentation and procedures, especially in a construction environment.
" Possession of a formal Quality Assurance qualification. E.g. membership of the CQI, or registered auditor with IRCA and/or a Diploma in quality.
" A working knowledge of ISO 9001.
" Excellent communicator
" Willingness to undertake training and personal development programme is essential
" IT literacy and good IT working skills are essential.
" A positive and helpful attitude and a customer service orientation are essential.
" Ability to carry out audits on contractors, consultants and project activities and produce reports is essential.
