Purchase Ledger Clerk with experience of sub-contractor payments

Fixed 12 month contract - Exp 31/07/2017.

Key Responsibilities:

* Processing invoices with 100% accuracy
* Ensure payment run deadline are met
* Adhere to HMRC & SAO requirements
* Perform monthly statement reconciliations and reviews of aged creditors
* Comply with standing orders
* Manage and maintain an accurate supplier database
* Ensure documentation is accurately scanned and filed
* Pay suppliers in line with our standard or amended payment terms
* Answer or refer queries promptly in a confident and professional manner

Key Skills and Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a similar role
* Ability to work within a team as well as working alone
* Be comfortable challenging and questioning work practices whilst bringing new and innovative ideas to the team
* High attention to detail with a record of high accuracy and quality
* Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a great telephone manner
* Experience in CIS
