Our client are a renowned construction company and are seeking a Fabrications Installations manager for their busy operations;|
Brief overview ; To manage all site based activities to ensure the contracts are delivered on time, to the required standards and within budget whilst ensuring client satisfaction. To work with the commercial management to collate site costings and outline valuations. To produce job programmes along with the Fabrication Shop Manager to monitor progress and communicate to all parties when required. Liaise with Fabrication Shop Manager to assist production programming and ensure smooth work flow and complete within deadlines.
To compile procurement schedules and liaise with the buying team ref supply and requirements ensuring adequate time and information so that tenders orders are placed in time. To monitor job costs and progress against budget - carry out site surveys. Monitor methods to ensure maximum efficiency. To work with the Fabrications Shop manager to complete works on time and standard. Provide technical support to site operatives taking on a hands on role when required. Hold review meetings. To liaise with sub contracted trades to ensure good relations are maintained and performance requirements clearly communicated. Ensure correct level of plant, fixings, fittings etc are available on site. Man manage the team on site so workforce are motivated at all times. Collate all drawings an keeping the drawing register up to date to ensure all current revisions and information are being worked.
To ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
The right person will have extensive previous construction infrastructure experience and able to project manage contracts effectively. Proven ability to ensure work contracts rune on time, within budget and to clients satisfaction. The individual will have excellent fabrication knowledge and be able to man manage large and small teams effectively. The right person will be commercially aware and have outstanding communication skills. The person will need to be flexible in terms of working hours with some late evening work and weekends
