Our client, one of the UK's leading independent UKAS accredited Environmental Consultancies, have an urgent requirement for high calibre Asbestos Surveyor/Analysts to join their team covering the North West.

The successful candidates work will involve carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition surveys, analysis sampling, microscopy, air sampling, and clearance testing as well as accurate reporting of data. Successful candidates will demonstrate sound working knowledge of HSG248/Bulk Analysis including use of PLM equipment and issuing certificates of re-occupation.

The successful candidate will already be participating in UKAS inspection & UKAS accreditation alongside a demonstrable practical knowledge of all current Asbestos sample testing procedures. In addition the successful candidate will possess strong working knowledge of Quality Control/Health & Safety Legislation with regards to the handling and analysis of Asbestos samples in a controlled environment.
The successful candidate must possess -

Minimum 6 Months industry experience
Minimum P402, P403, P404 Qualification
Ability to work as part of a wider team as well as under own initiative
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Excellent I.T skills
Ability to accurately report data and statistical information in a clear and concise manner
