NTT DATA Federal Services, Inc. currently seeks a "Project Manager" to join our team in "Suffolk, Virginia".

Position Functions or Responsibilities: Accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities. Candidate will meet with stakeholders on a regularly scheduled basis to review progress, budgetary information and change requirements. Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures. Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change. Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing a budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

- Lead the planning and implementation of project
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Develop full scale project plans
- Assemble and coordinate project staff
- Manage project budget
- Manage project resource allocation
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Provide direction and support to project team
- Quality assurance
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Project evaluations and assessment of results

Basic Qualifications: Required Qualifications:

  • Current DoD 8570.01-M CSWF IAM level II certification requirements
  • Experience managing 100+ people
  • 12 years IT experience
  • TS/SCI
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

This is a full-time salaried position with NTT DATA Federal, Inc. Please note, 1099 or corp-2-corp contractors will NOT be considered.
