About the role
Reporting to, and directly supporting, the Superintendent Maintenance Execution, the purpose of this role is to coordinate maintenance activities based on production & maintenance planning schedules, support routine and shutdown maintenance activities, provide technical support and ensure shift transitions are smooth and handovers flawless.
You will be called on to assist and resolve any technical issues within you area, and be required to support investigation of maintenance issues, subsequently identifying and proposing solutions. You will also take on small improvement projects across the plant and be directly involved with Material Risks work, Shutdown Execution and ensuring work instructions and drawings are updated.
While there are no direct reports into this position, the Coordinator is designated to step up into the Superintendent role when required, and it is therefore essential you are able to display strong leadership skills, an ability to effectively communicate to all levels of an organisation and a demonstrated capability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline, you will have a strong background in a similar technically challenging maintenance role while also displaying a strong track record in continuous improvement and an unwavering commitment to Safety.
Please note this position is based at Olympic Dam, operating on a 5/2 roster arrangement, with residential or FIFO options available.
Olympic Dam is located approximately 10 kilometres from Roxby Downs, a community of 3,500 people with an active and progressive community network. Roxby Downs is home to a variety of modern, well equipped housing, educational, health, sporting, leisure, shopping and cultural facilities.
